Tri-M is the only national music honors society available to high school sophomores, juniors and seniors who meet the required overall GPA and have a record of excellence in the arts. Students must be enrolled in a 1.0 credit music course each year and maintain a B average and above in all music courses.

Tri-M emphasizes musical excellence and musical service to the school and community.  Students are expected to complete three musical (outside) activities per year and three volunteer service hours to the department.
